Renfrewshire Council font

Source Sans Pro is our corporate font. It is the font you are reading here on The Thread.

Source Sans Pro was designed to be a great web font that also works beautifully in print. It is friendly and easy to read, with a full character set and a wide range of weights. Along with our colours and core shapes, it helps breathe life into our brand.

Source Sans Pro is on everyone’s computers. This makes it super simple for you to create on-brand documents, whether using one of our templates, or putting together papers of your own. You might have other fonts on your computer, but we ask, where possible, that you use Source Sans Pro so that all our work feels connected.

Using the font

We advise using:

  • Regular for your main text
  • Semibold and Bold for highlights or subtitles
  • Bold and Black for titles.

Light and Extra Light should be used with care as they are not as legible at small sizes but can work well at larger sizes.
